Ah yes, this song reminds me of my youthful days, spent running from the law! If only I had known this song, perhaps I could have whipped out my guitar and lulled the sheriff to sleep!

 

Anyway, here is another fingerpicking pattern to learn, one that can be used on countless songs. We are in the key of G now, using the 3 primary chords in the key, which are G, C and D7.

We are using an alternate bass pattern with the thumb, followed by 4 16th notes. The exact tab is below. Make sure you check Mel to review these chords or alternate bass patterns if you need to.
